Ward Camp Out

Look out here comes the class of 2021. Yes, that's right that's the year Lauren graduates from High School. We had her preschool graduation on June 12, 2008. She was a little under the weather that evening. Audrey was really sick and stayed home with Grandma. Lauren's ready for kindergarten now!

On way home we stopped and visited with my friend Angie and her girls.
Then we stopped at the Sun dail in Redding to walk around.

Disneyland

We made it to Disneyland on Tuesday June 3, 2008. On Sunday June 1, we were able to see the fireworks from our hotel, but we didn't go. The girls were really afraid of the fireworks and went back in the room with Grandma while the rest of us watched the fireworks. We went to Disneyland resort on Tuesday, Disney California on Wednesday and Disneyland resort again on Thursday. We were tired and ready for home after that. I had a cold, but just kept going, like Dory says, "Just keep swimming".

A long day, Lauren crashed at the table waiting for dinner.

They loved seeing all the characters and the parades. Didn't care for the 3D shows, they scared them (too loud). The priceless moment was watching Lauren dance like she was in the parade all the way back to the hotel.

On our way to Disneyland

Here is the start of our summer vacation to Disneyland. We left our house at 2:45 AM and drove straight to Bakersfield. We arrived in Bakersfield about 3:00PM and had time to jump in the pool and cool off before going to dinner with all the grandparents. Audrey loved just hanging out in the water. On Monday June 2, 2008 we went to the beach with my friend Heidi and her family. Heidi and I went to high school together and she's the one who introduced me to the church. It's great that we both have two girls the same ages. Audrey enjoyed being in the sand and Lauren enjoyed the water and the sand.
